SenseAnywhere Receives ISO 14001 Environmental Management Certification

The ISO 14001 Certification Demonstrates SenseAnywhere’s Commitment to Reducing its Environmental Impact in the Production of Temperature Monitoring Devices.

SenseAnywhere, a leading manufacturer of environmental monitoring technology, announced today that it has earned its International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 14001 certification for the Environmental Management System for the production of its range of data loggers and temperature monitoring devices.

Some of the most significant challenges facing businesses today are protecting the environment and preventing production from having an adverse impact on our ecosystem. This is why the requirements of ISO 14001 are an integral part of the European Union’s Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS).

With the ISO 14001 certification, SenseAnywhere’s customers can be fully assured that the company operates in accordance with the best environmental management practices when engineering and manufacturing its next-gen temperature monitoring products for their supply chains.

Reducing and preventing environmental waste
SenseAnywhere’s products are engineered and manufactured with sustainability in mind from the ground up. Efficient use of resources is an integral part of SenseAnywhere’s self-image, and the company has gone above and beyond to design unique products which reduce chemical, plastic, and paper waste.

One example of an exceptionally green product line are the AiroSensors. These data loggers have a battery life of 10 years! This means a huge reduction of chemical waste from replaced batteries, as well as energy needed to manufacture, order, ship, replace and dispose of empty batteries over a whole decade. The AiroSensors are also purposely designed to have small dimensions in order to use fewer production resources and therefore do not cause much plastic, electronic and chemical waste.

SenseAnywhere’s products function paperlessly and all SenseAnywhere measurements are stored in the digital Cloud environment, as a safe and green alternative to paper.

The company’s office buildings are powered through solar panels reducing the emission of CO2 into the environment. In addition, SenseAnywhere has installed LED lights throughout its office spaces to reduce energy use and has an Energy label A – the most economical use possible.

At SenseAnywhere, waste is always separated for recycling and many of the company’s employees travel to work by bicycle, reducing the company’s CO2 footprint even further.
